In Today’s Episode:
Kefi L!fe is delighted to welcome back Ikarian Thea Parikos to talk all about herbs, specifically Rosemary and Thyme.
Rosemary has been used for centuries, and what was beneficial then is even more so now. Did you know, for example, that Greek scholars used to carry and sniff sprigs of rosemary to increase mental clarity before an exam?
Were you aware that rosemary can be added to your undergarments’ drawer for a refreshing aroma? It also acts as a natural diuretic; however, avoid if taking blood thinners.
How about the mighty herb Thyme? Thyme combines well with oregano and tastes fabulous with cheese spreads.
If you are looking for healing properties, Thyme is multi-pharmacological being antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antineoplastic. Moreover, thyme has long been known for its antiviral, antibacterial antifungal and antiseptic activities. Need I add more?
OK!
Thyme is taken by mouth for bronchitis, whooping cough, sore throat, upset stomach, and flatulence (farting).
