It was exactly 21 years ago today that I took my daughter Alison from the orphanage in Kazakhstan where she spent her first 18 months to start our new life together! Twenty-one years ago yesterday, which was Thanksgiving, a judge in a freezing cold courtroom there made it official, Alison was my daughter! We call Nov 23 and 24 our “Forever Days”… Welcome to our story!
