When I say that “Americans” don’t know their US history, I really mean Republicans. They’re the ones re-writing the school textbooks to take out the “offensive” stuff… Not like slavery, but anything that makes you believe that slavery was so horribly bad!! We could waste a lot of time on their ignorance, but I’ll try to contain myself and be satisfied with the lessons that our friend, Prof. Harvey J. Kaye imparts on us today…
