As The Sparkling Train completes its evening route the passengers notice snow statues all over the island. Where did they come from?

Snow Statues Excerpt:

Snow sparkled as the red glow of sunset spilled across the fields. The blanket of snow filled The Sparkling Train with a sense of peace and stillness. On the train all was calm as passengers gazed out the windows at the soothing scene. The Train rounded a corner and felt the passengers’ excitement. They began talking loudly and pointing outside. The Sparkling Train wondered what all the commotion was about and began to look more closely at the land around the tracks. At first all the train could see was little bumps on the surface of the snow. Maybe the snow blanket had rolled over some bushes? It was hard to see what had excited the passengers. The Train decided to slow down a little since it was running ahead of schedule. The train slowed its roll and looked out at the scenery. Up ahead in the park, the Train noticed more bumps on the smooth snow. Rolling closer and closer the Train could see more details now that it wasn’t zipping by. Amazed, the train realized that the little bumps were all snow statues. The Train and its passengers wondered at the number of sculptures. They saw snow men, women, bunnies, snow squirrels, birds, frogs, toads, raccoons and even snow dragons.

Each snow sculpture had been created with great care. Filled with curiosity the Train gently slowed and then stopped. It had reached the station. Passengers filed off the train and headed home filled with amazement for the surprising art in the fields. As the passengers departed the train took a moment to admire the snow statues. Snow twinkled against the dark sky. In the moonlight the statues became even more beautiful.
