Winfield the wheel chair watches as the kids play tag in a field. He wishes for some wild wheels so that Brian can join his friends. Will he get them?

Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new story this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “Wild Wheels,” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday!

Narrator: Male

Story Begins: 9:34

Wild Wheels Excerpt:

Winfield the wheelchair and Brian watched from the sidewalk as a group of kids played tag on the bumpy field. Brian sighed. The little wheelchair understood. Brian wanted to play too, but Winfield’s wheels were too thin, and they would either sink into the soft grass or tip over. As they watched, the kids noticed Brian. Anora asked, “Hi Brian! Do you want to play with us?”

Ian added before Brian could respond, “Let’s move over to the pavement, then Brian will be able to move better.”

Brian smiled and said, “Thanks!” and joined in the game. Winfield helped Brian roll quickly through the group. Winfield smiled as he hard Brian’s laughter blend in with the others. Once everyone had a chance being “it” they all said goodbye and left for dinner. As they rolled home, Winfield thought about the kids playing on the grass. The wheelchair wished that he could carry Brian anywhere. Maybe he just needed different wheels.
