Two little sharks, Shayla and Santiago play in the soothing sea, diving down to the ocean floor from the surface, and returning to the warmth of the sunlit waters.

Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new story this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “Soothing Sea,” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday!

Narrator: Male

Story Begins: 9:17

Soothing Sea Excerpt:

Sunshine sparkled on the rolling waves. As sunlight filtered down the deep blue waters slowly lightened into a brilliant turquoise. Feeling the change from night to day, Santiago Shark peeked above the waves to watch the sunrise. Awed by the dance of colors across the sky, Santiago didn’t notice his friend Shayla had popped up right next to him. “Isn’t it beautiful?” she asked.

Focused on the sunrise, Santiago jumped. Shayla giggled and apologized, “Sorry, I didn’t mean to startle you.”

Santiago smiled and replied, “That’s okay, Shayla. I’m glad you’re here. Isn’t the sky beautiful this morning?”
