Roly robot is learning all about herself. Today Roly learns how to move and understand what Billy and Emily are asking her to do.

Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new story this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “Roly Robot,” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday!

Narrator: Male

Story Begins: 7:37

Roly Robot Excerpt:

Sunlight spilled onto the table where Roly the robot rested. The little robot smiled, wondering what she would do today. Almost in answer, Billy and Emily raced out of the kitchen and over to the table. Roly wanted to greet them but wasn’t sure how to move.

“What should we teach Roly?” Emily asked her brother.

“I think we should begin with the basics.” Billy answered.

“Oh, like doing flips and somersaults?” Emily suggested.

Billy looked at his sister and sighed. “We have to teach her how to move forward, backward, and turn, before we can teach Roly to do flips.”

“Oh…how long will that take?” Emily asked, feeling disappointed.

“We’ll have to see how quickly she learns.” Billy responded.
