Holly the green airplane has a great idea! She wants to spread the feeling of love and kindness across the island. How will she do it?

Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new story this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “Catching Kindness,” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday!

Narrator: Male

Story Begins: 8:11

Catching Kindness Excerpt:

Holly the green airplane rolled out of the hangar to catch a glimpse of the sky. Clouds formed a continuous fluffy blanket that dimmed the sun’s light to a soft glow. Holly sighed. “Oh well, it can’t be sunny all the time.” she thought. Then Holly felt the peace and calm the clouds carried with them. “Yes, the sparkling sunshine was nice, and so were the clouds.” the green plane decided. She smiled as she observed the airport vehicles. Everyone rolled by slowly. Some even grumbled as they looked up at the clouds. Holly’s eyes sparkled as an idea sparked a plan. Today would be the great day to spread some kindness around the island, starting with the other planes.

The green airplane simply smiled as she passed Hawk, the red airplane. As Hawk caught Holly’s smile, the corners of his mouth started to turn up until the red plane smiled broadly back. Holly continued to smile at everyone she saw, and when she rolled past Herb, the yellow airplane, she stopped to say, “Hi Herb! Thank you for your help watering the fields the other day. I learned a lot!”

Today’s Meditation: Relax in the grass as you imagine sunlight warming you from head to toe.
