Britney is excited to have Emily over and teach her friend all about basketball!
Narrator: Female
Story Begins: 3:52
Dribble and Pass Excerpt:
It was a warm afternoon on Ahway Island. Rays of sunshine streamed through the window of the Love family home as Mr. Love and his daughter Britney sat on the couch, reading. Well, Mr. Love was reading, but Britney was just sort of staring at the words on the page. She was having a hard time concentrating, because she was so excited. Every other minute, she looked out the window expectantly, hoping to see a car pull into the driveway. But there was no car yet. She glanced over to their front lawn, noticing how vibrantly green the grass was.
As Britney continued to look out the window, she noticed her bicycle sitting by the edge of the driveway. She admired her bright purple training wheels and sparkly pink handlebar wraps. Nearby, next to her smaller basketball hoop, Britney’s basketball sat, ready to be put to use as soon as Britney’s friend Emily arrived.
