89. Leadership Assessment
Today’s episode is about assessing yourself and your team if you have one.
When was the last time that you took the opportunity to have a leadership assessment done for you and/or your team? When I start working with new client leaders, I like to give them an assessment to help them understand how they are showing up as leaders, what their motivations and preferences are, look at their strengths and what may be getting in the way of their success. It also helps me understand them since we are just getting started in a coaching partnership. If they have done a recent assessment through their company, we will use that as a starting point.
In this episode:
- I shared what the Hogan assessment is and how it is leveraged in organizations.
- My experience using Hogan assessments to help leaders learn more about their leadership and perception.
- Why assessments can be beneficial for coaches to do with new clients
- What happens in an assessment conversation with leaders and how it can impact your visibility and leadership.
- Other kinds of assessments that you can choose from for insights.
- A simple assessment that you can do for yourself and/or your team members.
