I was born and raised and never left Johnson County Iowa. I’m a grandpa, and I come from a large. family, fourth generation of eastern Iowans. I’ve been a carpenter, third generation, since I can remember, fifty-plus years. Some jobs interrupted that through the years.
I go to a lot of movies when I can, and I’ve read a lot of authors from James Michener to David Baldacci to Michael Crichton. One of my favorite books was Moneyball. Definitely a message in that book—statistics matter.
Throughout the years, I’ve dreamed of a lot of things, but I never dreamed I’d be a messenger. This message I share with you is as vivid as the day it happened….
