ABOUT RICHARD WILLIAMS, PHD.
From 1980 to 2007, he served as the Director for Social Science with the Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition at the Food and Drug Administration. From 2007 to 2016 he was the Vice President for Policy Research at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University. He recently served on the U.S. EPA Science Advisory Board, is the Board Chairman for the Center for Truth in Science, and a board member of the Institute for the Advancement of Food and Nutrition Sciences. He is also a senior affiliated scholar with the Utah State Center for Growth and Opportunity and the Mercatus Center at George Mason University
