Norton Healthcare, a Kentucky-based operator of more than 140 clinics and hospitals in the Louisville, KY area and Southern Indiana, confirmed that it suffered a major cybersecurity attack.
The healthcare industry remains the most expensive sector for cybersecurity breaches, averaging $10.1 million for the twelfth consecutive year.
There has been a 250% increase in cybersecurity breaches since 2011.
