In this episode, Rob, Scott, and Becky celebrate the birth of Scott which happened roughly 125 years ago, give or take a year or two. To do this they conduct mostly the most unfair comparison ever on the show. They pit the young and higher scoring (The Decanter, so…) Chateau Bourdieu N 1 against an aged classic in the 2002 Chateau Pontet-Canet Grand Cru Pauillac. Will a wildly superior Chateau (Pontet-Canet) produce a wildly superior wine, or like Scott, does wine fall apart after a few years? We shall see… on The Wine Vault.
